    Dollywood to reopen Thursday after water main break

    PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Dollywood said early Thursday that it would reopen as scheduled on Thursday, July 18 following a closure Wednesday.

    The park had temporarily closed for the remainder of Wednesday due to a water main break.

    Just after 11 a.m. Wednesday, the park announced the closure on social media.

    Dollywood maintenance teams and crews with the City of Pigeon Forge were working to repair the break.

    A park spokesperson confirmed to WATE that all tickets and parking receipts from Wednesday will be honored when Dollywood reopens. The park website and social media channels were expected to have more details as they become available.

    Dollywood said the closure was not affecting Dollywood’s Splash County or Dollywood resort properties.
