Man Arrested Following Arson Investigation in Pikeville
An arson investigation in Pikeville has led to the arrest of 28 -year-old William Anthony Hamilton. Bristol, TN school leaders moving forward with Tod Houston Field upgrade
Bristol, Tennessee school leaders are moving forward with upgrading Tod Houston Field for use by the Bristol State Liners Appalachian League team. The Board of Education approved a resolution, Monday night, committing one and a half million dollars to upgrading the facility located next to Haynesfield Elementary School. City Council also approved a resolution earlier this month, agreeing to commit $5 million toward the project. The facility will remain being the home to the Vikings and the State Liners. The project will involve enlarging the field for the State Liners, installing new stands and concession areas, and building more parking spaces. Upgrading the facility is expected to cost around $8 million.
