Enterprise Man Takes Plea Deal in Ninth-Grader Murder, Will Have to Testify Against Co-Conspirator
ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDNews) – A suspect in the 2021 murder of a 15-year-old will receive only 3 years in prison in exchange for testifying against a co-conspirator. Deandre Flowers of Enterprise, Alabama was sentenced to serve three years in an Alabama prison, followed by 48 months of supervised probation after pleading guilty to manslaughter.

Funeral for 3 family members killed in Birmingham mass shooting to be held Saturday
Funeral plans have been announced for three family members killed in a Birmingham mass shooting at an adult birthday, including a woman and her grandson. A joint service will be held at Boutwell Auditorium Saturday for Angela Weatherspoon, 56, Markeisha Gettings, 42, and Lerandus Anderson, 24. Weatherspoon was Anderson’s grandmother.
