Pine Bluff, AR. –  Logan Stout has been named the head baseball coach at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (an HBCU in the Southwestern Athletic Conference), Vice Chancellor of Intercollegiate Athletics Chris Robinson announced on Wednesday.

“As we progressed through the hiring process, it became clear that Logan Stout would be an excellent addition to the Golden Lions baseball program,” Robinson said. “He has a positive reputation within the baseball community for his relentless recruiting efforts, his ability to develop student-athletes, and his high character as a coach. Logan has a wide network across the country, which will enable him to have an immediate impact on the program. We are excited to welcome Logan and his family to the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.”

Logan is beginning his first season at the Arkansas HBCU, bringing a wealth of experience from the baseball world. With his strong work ethic, he aims to build the program into an HBCU powerhouse and help student-athletes become better leaders, both on and off the field.

“I’m extremely grateful and excited to build upon what the previous coaching staff and teams have created at UAPB baseball. UAPB has a phenomenal legacy and I truly believe the potential is endless for the baseball program,” said Stout.
