Mayor Eric Adams and Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Wednesday that crime on subways has significantly decreased. Mayor Adams says transit crime has gone down by nearly 27% over the last four weeks. The American College of Cardiology announced on Tuesday their recognition and accreditation of Cayuga Medical Center (CMC) for its expertise and commitment to care. CMC was accredited based on the cardiac cath lab’s staff, with their ability to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients. They proved themselves to be more than capable in performing procedures efficiently and competently. CMC’s cardiac cath lab deals with coronary angiography and pacemaker insertions, as well as life-saving percutaneous coronary intervention.
