GONZALES — A fundraiser and dedication ceremony are being held in honor of Brenda Thomas-Morris, a beloved employee at Lamendola’s Supermarket who was murdered last month. Morris touched many lives with her kindness and infectious smile during her 13 years at Lamendola’s. The store is organizing a fundraiser to help cover her daughter’s graduation expenses as she starts her senior year of high school next month.

Addressing the litter problem in Louisiana is a responsibility we all must share. In order to engage Louisiana businesses in reducing and preventing litter, the Clean Biz Partnership was developed by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Executives.
