Multi-car crash leaves 1 dead and 3 injured in Harnett County
One person is dead, and three others injured after a multi-car crash in Dunn Friday night.It happened just before 9 a.m. in the 1000 block of Long Branch Road.According to investigators, when traveling west on Long Branch, a silver Ford Fusion crossed the center line and hit a Toyota Highlander.This caused the Toyota to roll over several times and hit a Kia Optima head-on where the car's passenger flew out of the windshield.The driver of the Ford died at the scene.The driver and passenger of the Kia were taken to a hospital with serious injuries. Camels open season at Tiger Classic
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – Campbell will open its 2024-25 women's golf season Monday with the Tiger Classic, hosted by Clemson at The Walker Course. The 36-hole, one-day 15-team event includes the host Tigers, who finished fifth in the 2024 NCAA stroke play championship. Eight NCAA Division I conferences are represented in the tournament. Campbell is the lone CAA school to compete in the Tiger Classic, while the Sun Belt and Big South will have four teams each participating.
