Family reflects on original Deorio’s location, reacts to new business opening
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A new restaurant bearing the name of a iconic Columbus pizzeria opened in early August. The original Deorio’s Pizza served customers for more than 50 years before closing in 2017. Now, a new Deorio’s is open in Midtown. However, family representing the longtime owner of the original location were upset to learn of the new restaurant this summer.

Middle Georgia Regional Airport Gets $4 Million in State Funding
Middle Georgia Regional Airport is set to receive $4,012,500 in state grants for several key development projects aimed at expanding its aviation services and boosting economic growth in the region.
