Reclamation announces fluctuation of Wind River flow downstream of Boysen Dam on July 10
(Shoshoni, WY) – The Bureau of Reclamation, in response to a request from the Hanover Irrigation District, has scheduled a flushing flow below Boysen Dam. “The purpose of the flushing flow below Boysen is to attempt to flush moss down river and mitigate the moss the district has at their diversion,” said Wyoming Area Manager Lyle D. Casper hires new custodial firm for $1M to clean city buildings for 5 years
CASPER, Wyo. — The City of Casper has hired a new custodial business to clean 13 buildings at six locations for the next five years at a cost of about $200,000 a year. We are excited to be extending the operating hours of the 8 lane lap pool to allow more lap swim time!. The 8 lane pool will remain open between 9:00am-11:00am starting on Monday, July 8th. E. coli in Fish Creek poses ongoing risk
JACKSON, Wyo. — E. coli levels in Fish Creek have been flagged as exceeding safe levels for swimming, marking a continued problem with contamination in the stream. The Teton County Health Department (TCHD), in partnership with the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WYDEQ) and the Teton Conservation District announced that a caution sign has been placed on Fish Creek by Hunt Bridge after testing found E. coli concentrations there to be above the safe body contact threshold. People are urged to avoid swimming or floating that stretch of water, located north of downtown Wilson off of Fish Creek Road.
