South Carolina basketball 5-star freshman Joyce Edwards is no stranger to receiving accolades and recognition. As a senior in high school, she won three National Player of the Year awards, was a National Female Athlete of the Year selection, brought home her 2nd South Carolina basketball state championship for Camden High School, and was recognized as the MVP at three national showcases, including the Nike Basketball Summitt, McDonald's All-American Game, and the Jordan Brand Classic.

Suspect barricades himself in home after firing shots; arrested by Richland County Sheriff's deputies
COLUMBIA, S.C. — A man is now in jail after being charged with strong arm robbery, kidnapping and possession of a stolen firearm. According to the Richland County Sheriff's Department (RCSD) were called to the 700 block of Zimalcrest Drive to speak to a victim about a robbery that took place the night before. The victim told deputies that the suspect, armed with a pistol, had robbed the victim of a gun.
