    Palisade’s Pineville Pool is now open

    PINEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Palisade’s Pineville Pool opened its doors for the first time in years in a Grand Opening event on Thursday.

    Patrons were welcomed inside beginning at 11:00am for the event, which featured music, games, and cornhole, as well as drawings for a season pass.

    On-hand for the opening were vendors such as Wacky Waffles, Tropical Sno, Cole House Cookies, and Sippin’ Brunettes.

    The Palisade’s Pineville Pool team expressed gratitude to a number of individuals for their assistance in ensuring that the recreational facility would be able to successfully open for the 2024 summer season. Among these individuals were Cody and Carrie Darby who helped to secure a contractor, town workers Josh, Brady, Randal, Michael, and Darrin, Zac Cooper, Brian Mitchell, and Pineville Mayor, Aaron Hatfield.

    Mike and Vicki Clay, Demia Aliff, and members of the Pineville Police Department were also recognized for their contributions.

    Palisade’s Pineville Pool is located at Park Street in Pineville, West Virginia. Admission is $5 for guests ages 6 and up, $3 for guests ages 2-to-5, and free for guests ages 2 and under. Additional information can be found at the Palisade’s Pineville Pool Facebook page .

    Pool passes for the season are available for purchase at Pineville Town Hall at $75 for a single pass and
    $200 for a family pass with from 1-to-4 people per pass $30 for each additional family pass member.
