The winds on Sunday will be gusty, around 25 mph or greater from the north. With those stronger winds, wave heights for the lakeshore of Lake Michigan will be 5 to 10 feet, creating dangerous swimming conditions and possible rip currents. A Beach Hazards statement remains in effect until 4 a.m. Tuesday. Saturday night's lows will drop mainly in the middle 60s, with partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies and a few leftover showers. Highs will max out again Sunday afternoon, primarily in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Looking ahead to the new work week and, for some, the first school week, it will be beautiful with a mostly clear sky conditions, but temperatures will be much cooler, with highs only peaking in the middle 70s.
