Fired Up! Nerf war arena blasts off to new Boise digs
Nerf wars are coming to the Hillcrest Shopping Center on Overland and Orchard in Boise. Nerfed is an indoor Nerf gun arena with obstacles and barriers and is billed as a family-friendly alternative to paintballing. Nerfed is currently located at Franklin and Curtis but owner Nick Colivas tells BoiseDev he’s moving his operation to the Hillcrest plaza next month.
Project would add condos, retail by busy McCall marina
A project would build a series of five condo units and retail space right across from the Mile High Marina near the busy boat ramp in McCall. The property is registered in the names of John H. Brandt and Orah I. Brandt of Nampa, the family whose name graces the Brandt Auditorium at the Nampa Civic Center and Brandt Fine Arts Center at Northwest Nazarene University.
Meridian man sentenced in fatal car crash that killed Greenleaf coach
A Meridian man was sentenced to prison Thursday, a year and a half after his driving killed a local teacher and coach. Shawn Stacy, 28, will serve at least two years, and possibly up to 17, for felony vehicular manslaughter, Third District Judge Brent Whiting ruled Thursday, according to online court records.
