Back to School: Twin Falls School District introduces new policy on phones
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — It is almost time to get ready to go back to school. With the new school year starting, there are also new policies that kids must follow. “First and foremost is we want our students to be engaged in their classes,” said the Twin Falls School District Public Relations Director Eva Craner.

The final touches are being completed at the new Riverbend Elementary School in Blackfoot, bringing much needed 21st century updates and modernizations to benefit local students. Semi carrying manure catches fire after being hit by semi carrying molasses
JEROME COUNTY — Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred at 2:15 p.m. on Friday. A 26-year-old male from Wendell and a juvenile passenger were traveling in a 1998 Freightliner semi-truck loaded with manure, eastbound on Interstate 84 near milepost 180. A 49-year-old male from Clovis, California, traveling in a 2013 Freightliner semi-truck, struck the rear of the 1998 Freightliner.
Water levels rising in ESPA by significant levels
An update on the water volume changes in eastern Idaho shows increased levels in the past year and gains over the last 10 years. According to a release from The Idaho Water Resource Board, the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer (ESPA), had a net gain of 800,000 acre-feet of water from the spring of 2023 to the spring of 2024 and 500,000 acre-feet since 2014.
