Celebrating Great Outdoors Month in Pipestem State Park

PIPESTEM, WV (WVNS) — June is Great Outdoors Month and there is no better place to experience it than West Virginia!

Pipestem Resort State Park ranks on Trip Advisors’ Top Ten Most Popular State Parks in West Virginia. Charles Abraham who visited from Logan, West Virginia agreed.

“It’s been beautiful. We couldn’t help but notice, of course, the trees, very peaceful, and then so many of the places, like the overlook here and the overlook back up the other direction. It’s just incredible,” said Abraham.

Abraham and his family came to Pipestem for a church conference and plan to complete part of the West Virginia Waterfalls Trail on their visit.

He said they plan to head towards Hinton and visit Sandstone Falls before returning home to Logan.
