Piscataway Police to Host Annual National Night Out Street Fair Event

PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Residents are invited to stop by Stockton Street behind the YMCA at the Piscataway Community Center (YPCC) on Tuesday, August 6 for National Night Out 2024, the free street fair style event that endorses police and community partnerships and promotes crime prevention goals to help make neighborhoods safer.

National Night Out will run from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will feature information on fighting crime and fire prevention, vendors, food trucks, and performances.

Members of the Piscataway Police Department will also be on hand to greet the community.

According to their website, National Night Out “is a national initiative that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.”

The YPCC is located at 520 Hoes Lane across from the Kennedy Library and the Piscataway Senior Center.
