Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix made the first (preseason) start of his NFL career against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night. Nix played about as well as the Broncos could have hoped for, completing eight of his nine pass attempts for 80 yards with one touchdown pass and no turnovers. He also rushed three times for 12 yards. The rookie quarterback played two drives that led to 10 points (Nix also had one touchdown pass nullified by a penalty).
