Greenville man jailed on multiple charges after shooting, robbery incident
Pitt County, NC — A 20-year-old man has been jailed on multiple charges following an investigation, according to the Pitt County Sheriff's Office. Yaushen Kyreese Dade-El of Greenville was arrested and charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and shooting into an occupied vehicle by the Pitt County Sheriff's Office. He was additionally charged with first degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of conspiracy by the Greenville Police Department.

Two arrested after fatal shooting on Memorial Drive in Greenville
GREENVILLE, Pitt County — Two individuals face charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a man on Memorial Drive on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Officers from the GPD were called to the 900 block of S. Memorial Drive following reports of gunshots fired at a car with occupants. The suspects allegedly got out of their vehicle and fired at another car with four people inside, which was stopped in traffic. None of the individuals involved were present when law enforcement arrived at the scene.
Japanese manufacturer expected to build plant, add 232 jobs
