MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Former WVU center Zach Frazier has officially signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to a statement from the team.

The Steelers selected Frazier with the 51st pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The former All-American signed a four-year contract with the team Monday.

Frazier was the literal centerpiece of the WVU offensive line during his four-year career in Old Gold and Blue. He cleared the way for the Mountaineers to gain 2,976 rushing yards during the 2023 campaign, the most among Power 5 teams. He also did not allow a sack.

He received All-America honors from various publications during his Mountaineer career and is a former finalist for Campbell Trophy.

“It’s rare you find a guy with that kind of pedigree and his resume and the amount of snaps he has in college,” offensive coordinator Arthur Smith said in a statement. “He’s been a high achiever his whole life, and we couldn’t be more fired up to get Zach.”

The Steelers also announced Monday that head coach Mike Tomlin signed a three-year extension, which will keep him with the team through 2027.
