    Penguins add more players on first day of free agency

    The Penguins have made a few more moves on the first day of free agency.

    27-year-old forward Anthony Beauvillier and 25-year-old forward Jimmy Huntington were both signed to one-year deals on Monday.

    Beauvillier has appeared in eight NHL seasons. Last season he played for the Canucks, Blackhawks and Predators with five goals and 12 assists during the regular season and one goal and one assist in the playoffs.

    Beauvillier has played in 550 total NHL games with 116 goals and 130 assists in the regular season, along with 16 goals and 15 assists in the playoffs.

    Huntington played last season with the Washington Capitals minor league team, Hershey Bears.

    He has 16 goals and 17 assists over 67 games, along with five goals and 9 assists in the playoffs, helping the Bears win the Calder Cup Championship.

    Huntington’s NHL level contract is worth $775,000.

    The Penguins also have signed forward Bokondji Imama to a one-year deal worth $775,000

    “Boko” as he is known, has played the parts of three seasons in the NHL with the Coyotes and Senators.

    Last season, Imama played in six games for Ottawa. He also played in 53 games for the Belleville Senators in the AHL. He had three goals and seven assists.

    He has one goal in 15 NHL career games.

    The Penguins also announced Monday afternoon the signing of defenseman Nathan Clurman to a one-year deal, also worth $775,000.

    Clurman played in the AHL last season with the Colorado Eagles with one goal and four assists in 37 games.

    He has no NHL experience.
