WATCH: Elephants celebrate ‘sweet 16’ birthday with special birthday cake at Pittsburgh Zoo

Two beloved elephants recently celebrated their 16th birthdays at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium, with a special birthday cake and decorations.

Video released by the zoo shows Angeline and Zuri, both females, checking out the birthday decorations set up in their enclosure.

The elephants were both born in July 2008 — Angeline on the 9th and Zuri on the 25th — and their joint birthday celebration was held on Saturday, July 20, the zoo said.
