Carousel Music Theater presents ‘Dominic’s Diner’
The Carousel Music Theater, 196 Townsend Ave., in Boothbay Harbor Maine, is currently running a wonderful new show titled “Dominic’s Diner.”. Set in the 1950s, a lovely young woman inherits the diner owned by her late uncle. ‘Twist the night away’ with Diana and her friends as they try their best to keep the diner afloat. This production was written and directed by Carousel alum, Broadway triple threat Michelle Bruckner. She pays homage to the late Dominic Garvey, who was artistic director of the Carousel when she first came to Boothbay Harbor 30 years ago.

Lewiston Teenager Sahal Murdi Found Dead After Shooting Incident, Investigation Underway
A 17-year-old boy, Sahal Murdi, was found dead after what appeared to be a shooting incident in Lewiston, Maine, according to local authorities. The incident was reported around 10:30 p.m. last night on Rideout Avenue. WGME notes that Lewiston Police responded to a 911 call for shots fired and upon arrival, they discovered Murdi's body in the middle of the road.

3 Maine children with critical illnesses granted moose hunting permits
AUGUSTA, Maine — Three children with critical illnesses now have their moose hunting permits thanks to a new Maine law. A special ceremony was held Monday in Augusta for the young hunters, who were presented their permits by Gov. Janet Mills and Judy Camuso, commissioner of the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
