LEWISTON – Gerald Normand Bouffard, 86, of Lewiston, passed away July 13, 2024, with family by his side. He was born on April 16, 1938, the son of Fortunat and Yvonne Bouffard. He was educated at St Dominic’s high school graduating in 1955 and spent the next four in the Navy. He returned to Lewiston to find the love of his life Pauline Marchand and married May 26, 1962. They settled in Lewiston where they raised three sons.

Police arrest suspect in Cushing death, Augusta police chase
Police have arrested a second suspect in a death in Cushing after they say he led them on a chase through the Augusta area and barricaded himself inside his vehicle. Jason Hewett, 39, of Augusta, was arrested after four hours of negotiations and is charged with manslaughter, domestic assault and eluding an officer, state police announced Wednesday morning.
