Sunny skies, low humidity make for perfect summer weather in NY, NJ

NEW YORK (PIX11) – With heavy rains and heat waves behind, New York will finally see perfect summer weather Sunday.

New York will see a high of 82 degrees Sunday with no rain. All week, temperatures will remain in the low- to mid-80s across New York and New Jersey.

By next weekend, the region could see a hurricane, but until then it will be clear skies and lows in the mid-60s.

In New Jersey, temperatures will sit in the low-80s all week with mostly sunny skies and lows in the 60s. Monday, though, will bring a slight chance of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.
