Man stabbed outside Randall’s Island shelter: NYPD

RANDALL’S ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was stabbed in the abdomen outside a shelter at Randall’s Island Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.

The stabbing happened around 10:30 a.m. near Field 82, according to the NYPD. A 26-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and rushed to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police have not made any arrests Sunday.

The stabbing comes just over a week after the NYPD found no contraband and made no arrests during a raid of the migrant shelter on Randall’s Island .
