$1M lottery ticket sold at Rochester gas station, Take 5 ticket sold at Tops

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The New York Lottery announced one second-prize-winning ticket was sold for the August 10 Powerball drawing. The $1 million ticket was sold at Speedway on 3960 W Ridge Road in Rochester.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of 1 to 69. The red Power Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.

Also on Saturday, a Take 5 top-prize winning Lottery ticket was sold at Tops in Spencerport on Slayton Avenue. The ticket is worth $34,175.50.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of 1 through 39. The drawing is televised at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. every day.

A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing. The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.8 billion in fiscal year 2023-2024 to benefit public schools in New York State.
