Man fatally shot in New Jersey: Prosecutor

PASSAIC, N.J. (PIX11) — A man was fatally shot in Passaic, N.J., on Sunday, according to officials.

The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said police got a call of shots fired on Sixth Street around 3:30 a.m. Police found the victim, a 33-year-old man, shot in the chest and took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
