Pedestrian critically injured in Midtown hit-and-run: NYPD

MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – A pedestrian is fighting for his life after being struck by a car in Midtown early Monday morning, according to the NYPD.

A 30-year-old man was at West 49th Street and Eighth Avenue around 2:45 a.m. when he was struck, police said.

The car fled the scene, and the pedestrian was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition, police said.
