    Woman raped, threatened with knife in Coney Island: NYPD

    CONEY ISLAND, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A woman was thrown to the ground and raped near the Coney Island boardwalk Sunday evening, police said.

    The 46-year-old was pushed to the ground by two men around 9 p.m. on Surf Avenue near West 17th Street, according to the NYPD. The men flashed a knife and one raped her, police said.

    Police arrested one man, 24-year-old David Davon-Bonilla related to the incident but have not found the second man, according to the NYPD. Davon-Bonilla, who police say is unhoused, now faces rape, assault and weapons charges, police said.
