    Man arrested in connection to fatal stabbing in Bronx laundromat: NYPD

    THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man has been arrested in connection to the double stabbing inside a Bronx laundromat early Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.

    Clarence Woodward, 39, of Brooklyn, was arrested on Thursday at 11:04 p.m., police said.

    It happened on East 170th Street around 2:40 a.m. A man was walking around the laundromat, holding laundry, when he stabbed the two victims, per police.

    A man was stabbed in the legs and torso and pronounced dead at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. A 47-year-old man was stabbed in the back and taken to the same hospital, according to authorities.

    Woodward was taken into custody on murder, manslaughter, and assault charges, according to the NYPD.
