    Madison Square Garden ranks among NHL’s priciest venues, study reveals

    NEW YORK (PIX11) — In the heart of Manhattan sits one of the top three most expensive venues in the NHL, according to a new study from the Action Network.

    From tickets to concessions and parking, the study looked at half a dozen key factors for each arena in the league.

    Madison Square Garden, home to the New York Rangers, is the third most expensive arena in the NHL, according to the study. For a day out with a family of four, it will cost around $600 to enjoy a Ranger game, around 42% above the NHL’s average. MSG also has the most expensive beers in the league, according to the study, a total of $30 for just two beers.

    Scotiabank Arena, the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs, was ranked the most expensive NHL venue. T-Mobile Arena, home of the Vegas Golden Knights, is the second most expensive venue, according to the study.

    UBS Arena on Long Island ranked as the 15th most expensive venue and the Prudential Center in Newark ranked as the 21st most expensive arena, according to the study.

    Here are the full rankings, according to Action Network, from most expensive to least:

    2. T-Mobile Arena – Vegas Golden Knights
    3. Madison Square Garden – New York Rangers
    4. Bridgestone Arena – Nashville Predators
    5. TD Garden – Boston Bruins
    6. United Center – Chicago Blackhawks
    7. Climate Pledge Arena – Seattle Kraken
    8. Capital One Arena – Washington Capitals
    9. Bell Centre – Montréal Canadiens
    10. Crypto.com Arena – Los Angeles Kings
    11. PPG Paints Arena – Pittsburgh Penguins
    12. Xcel Energy Center – Minnesota Wild
    13. Little Caesars Arena – Detroit Red Wings
    14. Amalie Arena – Tampa Bay Lightning
    15. UBS Arena – New York Islanders
    16. Wells Fargo Center – Philadelphia Flyers
    17. Rogers Place – Edmonton Oilers
    18. American Airlines Center – Dallas Stars
    19. Canada Life Centre – Winnipeg Jets
    20. Enterprise Center – St. Louis Blues
    21. Prudential Center – New Jersey Devils
    22. Ball Arena – Colorado Avalanche
    23. Rogers Arena – Vancouver Canucks
    24. PNC Arena – Carolina Hurricanes

      • The Coyotes relocated to Utah as the Utah Hockey Club in the 2024 offseason and will play at the Delta Center.
