    Man wounded in shooting after fight breaks out at Bronx party: NYPD

    CONCOURSE, the Bronx (PIX11) – A man was wounded in a shooting at a party in the Bronx early Tuesday morning, according to the NYPD.

    It happened in a building on Walton Avenue in Concourse around 3:25 a.m. Several people at a party taking place in the building got into a verbal argument, per police.

    Someone pulled out a gun during the fight and shot a 26-year-old man, according to authorities.

    The victim flagged down police officers, saying he was shot, per police. He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.

    A 27-year-old man was also shot in the leg, per police. He took himself to the hospital.

    At least nine shell casings were found at the scene, according to authorities. The NYPD is still searching for suspects and it’s unknown if the shooter and victim knew each other, per police.
