    Service resumes after person struck by subway train in Brooklyn: MTA

    BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A person was struck by a train in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, resulting in delays to the B and Q subway lines, according to the MTA.

    Emergency crews responded to reports of a person struck at the Sheepshead Bay station.

    Southbound B and Q trains bypassed Sheepshead Bay and were rerouted.

    Q trains ran on the N line from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue, according to the MTA.

    Meanwhile, southbound B trains ran on the D line from Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.

    Passengers could’ve also considered taking the B37, B64, B103, B68, B41, or B82 buses for service between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.

    Northbound B and Q trains ran with delays after track maintenance between Kings Highway and Prospect Park concluded Tuesday afternoon, according to the MTA.
