Group robs man at knife and gun point on moving train: NYPD

ROOSEVELT ISLAND, Manhattan (PIX11) — A group of men robbed another man at knife and gunpoint onboard a moving train Wednesday morning, police say.

The 25-year-old man was on a southbound F train around 3 a.m. when three men approached him, according to authorities. Police say that’s when two of the men in the group allegedly pulled a knife and gun and took the 25-year-old’s scooter, cellphone and debit card.

The victim got off at the Roosevelt Island train station and reported the incident to police. However, the group of men stayed on the train and escaped in an unknown direction.
