    Teen who texted family that she was kidnapped in Brooklyn located: NYPD

    EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — Police have located a 16-year-old girl who texted her family, saying she was kidnapped.

    The teen had been last seen entering the Pitkin Avenue-Van Siclen Avenue subway station in East New York just before 3 p.m. on Tuesday, according to authorities.

    The girl texted a family member shortly after, telling them two unknown men had kidnaped her, police said.

    Police said Wednesday evening that the girl had been located, but no additional details were available.
