11-month-old girl found dead in Bronx home: NYPD

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – An 11-month-old girl was found dead in a Bronx home on Wednesday, according to the NYPD.

Police were called to a house on West Farms Road around 7:40 p.m. The infant, identified as Jazeli Mirabal, was found unconscious and unresponsive, according to authorities.

She was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where she was pronounced dead, per police.

Her mother was questioned by the NYPD, sources told PIX11 News. No charges have been filed.
