Most of the businesses have been laundries and cleaners in the Bronx and Queens, according to authorities. Although there have been no reported injuries, the men have taken coin machines, merchandise and cash from registers before driving off in a car with stolen plates, police say.

Authorities say during one incident on April 15, the men took $2000 in cash from a cleaner service in Flushing, Queens. A week later, they broke into a laundry room at an apartment building in Queens Village and took cash from a machine. On May 20 the suspects stole a payment machine from another laundry room in Flushing, according to officials.

Submit tips to police by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477), visiting crimestoppers.nypdonline.org , downloading the NYPD Crime Stoppers mobile app, or texting 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. Spanish-speaking callers are asked to dial 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
