    Person fatally struck by subway train in Queens: NYPD

    QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) — A man was fatally struck by a subway train in Queens Saturday evening, according to the NYPD.

    Police say they responded to a 911 call at the Mets-Willets Point station at around 6:01 p.m.

    A man was found lying on the tracks, police said. He was pronounced dead.

    Video from Citizen showed firefighters and officers on the tracks as a No. 7 train was stalled as vehicles and a city bus ran under the overpass .

    The incident does not appear to be criminal in nature, according to the NYPD.

    No. 7 trains are running with delays in both directions.
