NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – You might want to grab a grown-up before heading to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.

The park has implemented a new chaperone policy that goes into effect this Saturday. Guests 15 years old or younger must be accompanied by a chaperone after 5 p.m.

The chaperone has to be at least 21 years old and no more than 10 underage guests can accompany one supervisor at a time. That chaperone also must be available by phone.

Parkgoers who are age 16 or older can also be asked to show a valid ID, like a driver’s license, state-issued ID card or passport, at any time. You may be denied park entry if you’re unable to verify your age.
