‘Signature hospitality’: Chick-fil-A opens third location in the Bronx

BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A new Chick-fil-A is set to open its doors on Thursday, according to Chick-fil-A Inc.

This will be the third franchise location to open in the Bronx and the 21st throughout the five boroughs. A new crew of 80 New Yorkers will come together to serve Chick-fil-A’s famous chicken sandwich and their distinct waffle fries.

“I am humbled by this opportunity, and I cannot wait to introduce Chick-fil-A’s signature hospitality and culture of care to my new Team Members and our neighbors in the East Bronx,”  K.C. Jones, the independent franchised local owner, said. “We believe cared for people care for people, and that belief will be reflected in our active involvement with our Team, our Guests, and our community.”

The new Chick-fil-A will be in the Bay Plaza Shopping Center at 2276 Bartow Avenue.

To celebrate their new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A recognizes local heroes impacting the Bronx area by providing them free entrees for a year.
