    NYC brewery brings Oktoberfest celebration to Manhattan

    MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) – October is just around the corner, and beer lovers are gearing up for a special Oktoberfest celebration in Union Square in Manhattan.

    Torch & Crown, a Manhattan brewery known for its craft beers, local wines, and spirits, is bringing back TorchFest. Their outdoor version of Oktoberfest, held in New York’s streets, takes place on Sunday, Oct. 6.

    “We all came to New York City for its undefinable energy, its unity of ambition, its diversity, creativity, and that edge you can’t find anywhere else in the world,” read the brewery’s website.

    Beer lovers are invited to the company’s Union Square beer garden to celebrate a New York-style version of Oktoberfest.

    Tickets are on sale and start at $15 per person; this includes entry and one drink or food item with admission. A VIP package, starting at $65 per person, consists of entry to TorchFest, access to a VIP seating area, a commemorative stein, and four tickets good for a drink or food item.
