Mayor Adams addresses investigation into members of his administration

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Federal investigators seized the phones of NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban and other high-ranking department officials as part of a city corruption investigation , according to law enforcement sources.

Mayor Eric Adams sat down for an exclusive interview with PIX on Politics host Dan Mannarino, stating he does not know why there is an ongoing investigation into top members of his administration.

Adams says he has full faith in his staff that they can continue in their roles and that his administration won’t be distracted by the investigation.

“There are always things happening in the city and they know that we have to continue to deliver for New Yorkers and we’ve done that. Look at what we’ve done from nine months ago. Our job numbers are through the roof, safety continues to be shown in the city, our subway system is safe, and we are opening our schools. You look across the board and you’ve seen the mayor is not going to be distracted. I am going to deliver for New Yorkers,” said Adams.
