Trader Joe’s to bring back popular item, but only for a limited time

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Trader Joe’s is returning a popular item to store shelves, but according to a social media post on Trader Joe’s Obsessed, it’s only for a limited time.

The company’s viral mini totes will briefly return in the third week of September.

“The mini canvas top [sic] bag will be arriving on wed September 18,” read the Instagram post . “I’m so excited what colors do want?”

This isn’t the first time a craze surrounding Trader Joe’s products has buzzed on the internet. Over the summer, their mini-insulated tote bags went viral. Back in March, their mini canvas tote bags were in such high demand resellers on eBay resold totes for up to $500.

It remains unclear how long the tote bags will be available; according to Trader Joe’s website, consumers should contact a store directly for availability and pricing.

Still, Trader Joe’s super fans are eager to get their hands on the totes, with one Instagram user writing, “I don’t care what color, I just need one.”

Trader Joe’s was not immediately available to comment on their upcoming release.
