NEW YORK (PIX11) — NJ Transit service has resumed with 60-minute delays in and out of Penn Station after a suspension into New York, according to officials.

An overhead wire issue caused a brief suspension into New York Penn Station, the NJ Transit website said.

NJ Transit buses, private carriers, and PATH trains will cross-honor rail tickets and passes for alternative service. Commuters can take the PATH train at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken, and 33rd Street.

Delays hit the rails as buses were also experiencing 60-minute delays due to a crash in the Lincoln Tunnel.
