Human remains found in Roslyn, Long Island: Police

ROSLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Human remains were found in Hempstead Harbor on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Officers found a man’s body in the Roslyn bay just before 6 p.m., according to authorities.

Detectives are still investigating how the body got there, as well as the cause of death.

It’s the second set of human remains found on Long Island this month after a woman’s body was found inside a suitcase in Huntington. However, police have not indicated any correlation.
