St. Hubert’s is working with Greater Good Charities to relocate as many pets as possible. The dogs and cats that came to the East Coast from the South were all awaiting adoption before Wednesday’s storm. Officials said that transporting these adoptable shelter pets creates space for newly lost and displaced cats and dogs until they can be reunited with their families.

The adoptable furballs will be available at a number of East Coast shelters in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, officials said.
