    Driver shot in head, hits pedestrian in Queens: police

    ST. ALBANS, Queens (PIX11) – A driver was shot in the head in Queens, then hit a pedestrian after he lost control of his vehicle on Monday, police said.

    The incident happened near 117th Road and Farmers Boulevard in St. Albans around 4:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.

    The 66-year-old driver suffered a gunshot wound to his head and then hit a 23-year-old woman with his vehicle, police said.

    The driver and pedestrian were both hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said.

    No arrests have been made.
