10-year-old boy hit by vehicle on Staten Island: police

ST. GEORGE, Staten Island (PIX11) – A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition after he was hit by a vehicle on Staten Island Tuesday, police said.

The 10-year-old was struck by the vehicle near Richmond Terrace and Nicholas Street in the St. George area around 3:10 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The child was hospitalized in critical condition, authorities said.

A 28-year-old man who was driving the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.
