NYC health department hiring for more than 500 open jobs

NEW YORK (PIX11) – The New York City health department is currently hiring for more than 500 open jobs.

The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has 575 job openings, nearly all of which are full time. The jobs are listed online on JobsNYC , the official careers website for the City of New York.

Most of the openings are described as “experienced” roles, but there are some entry-level positions available.

The job listings provide salary ranges, descriptions of the position, minimum qualifications, and other requirements they may have.

Separately, an upcoming job fair in New York City will offer on-the-spot interviews for a variety of jobs, including positions in the maintenance, warehouse, customer service, social service, and food service industries.

BronxWorks, a non-profit organization, is hosting the job fair at 1130 Grand Concourse in the Bronx from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
