    PIX Panel discusses historic indictment against Mayor Adams

    NEW YORK (PIX11) – History was made in New York City this week when Eric Adams became the city’s first sitting mayor to be indicted on federal charges.

    A federal indictment charged Adams with bribery, campaign finance and conspiracy offenses. He is accused of accepting bribes and illegal campaign contributions from foreign sources stemming from his 2021 mayoral campaign. Adams has pleaded not guilty .
